Or just move over and let them pass. I drive fast and often in the left lane, but I move over if a car is close to me. Sometimes they’ll move over too because they’re following my lead but other times they speed up and pass. I don’t understand the hall monitor types who want someone tailgating them. [/quote]

There will always be someone faster than you on the road and always someone slower. The way that civilized people handle it is to stay right, pass left.

You don’t have to be “stuck” in either lane. Change lanes, as needed.

If you have trouble changing lanes, I recommend driving school.
