Chris was a clean-cut, handsome & very likeable guy. He seems to be reasonably intelligent, friendly and just a loving Dad to his two daughters. He had no history of aggression or violent behavior so on paper he seemed like the ideal family man. I can totally understand how people who knew him prior to the murders collectively agreed he was a good guy. Even when the CBI came to his prison in WI in February ‘19 - his demeanor was of a regular guy. In a recent recorded phone call w/his parents from prison, his Mother tells him....”It’s okay son... we all KNOW how she (Sha’nann) was,” Chris defended his wife by telling them that she was a great person + wanted her to be remembered as so..... Don’t get me wrong, I hope he rots in prison for the rest of his pathetic life. But I just wonder..... How could he have fooled so many people??
Sounds like he snapped. Not that he was trying to hide in plain sight like Dexter his whole life.
If it were a crime of passion, I would believe he snapped. But the way everything was carried out... he'd been thinking about this for quite some time. He had a plan. He just wasn't bright enough to have a plan that didn't result in him getting caught.
