Especially after he lost the 65 pounds and tightened up.
It’s really tough for anyone to call him attractive considering the crime he committed.
I recently saw Scott Peterson on the news.
Again objectively he also is above average in the looks dept., but when so many people hate a specific person -> they tend to not want to admit the person is good looking.
Like Lyle and Erik Menendez.
And O.J.

Shannan is heard on phone or texting telling Chris she is going to video record when the girls run up to meet him at the airport.
I guess it's not unusual for social media personalities/lifestyle bloggers to record so much of their personal lives.
It was chilling how quickly he fixed his face. Maybe he was used to doing that, given how much of their lives were online, but that really stuck out to me. At the same time, he absolutely couldn't fake his "performance" caught on the police bodycam, when he awkwardly "found" Shanann's rings and tried to suggest it meant she had run off. Same for the media interview where he attempted to act distraught.
There's also something off about the girlfriend. Lady MacBeth vibes there. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and she seemed to know exactly how to play him.

He seems to be reasonably intelligent, friendly and just a loving Dad to his two daughters.
He had no history of aggression or violent behavior so on paper he seemed like the ideal family man.
I can totally understand how people who knew him prior to the murders collectively agreed he was a good guy.
Even when the CBI came to his prison in WI in February ‘19 - his demeanor was of a regular guy.
In a recent recorded phone call w/his parents from prison, his Mother tells him....”It’s okay son... we all KNOW how she (Sha’nann) was,” Chris defended his wife by telling them that she was a great person + wanted her to be remembered as so.....
Don’t get me wrong, I hope he rots in prison for the rest of his pathetic life.
But I just wonder.....
How could he have fooled so many people??

Sounds like he snapped. Not that he was trying to hide in plain sight like Dexter his whole life.

Anonymous wrote:True Crime Rocket Science has the most convincing theories I have read. The reason he claimed sex is because he had phone sex with Nichol earlier that evening. He may have known semen would be hanging around here and there in the house, in his room, on his clothes, etc.
The reason he mentioned Bella asking "is the same thing going to happen to me" is because Bella had been worrying about Cece's allergies and dying by allergic reaction. Babysitter said she was talking about it that Saturday night.
It is very unlikely the kids were alive in the car. Chris noticed the smell but the kids were likely killed first. They theorize he used Shannan's Oxycodone to knock them out before smothering.
Shannan probably never made it up the stairs. Probably never went to bed which is why she still had make up AND a bra on. How many of us sleep with bras on? I can't stand wearing a bra even when I'm awake.
In a later "last confession" he claimed he smothered the kids - and then they both woke up! So he had to kill them "a second time" at the work site. I mean he's just ridiculous. He works to incorporate things that actually happened in with his lies and it all comes out an unbelievable mess.
I just can't figure out why he lies so much. The whole world knows what he is, what he did and how awful he is. Why does he still make up stories about what happened? He's just nuts.
