This fire chief cites "safety reasons," unspecified. What are these reasons? Maybe response times, as mentioned by the former fire chief. So, have response times slowed?[/quote]

the hospital deferred to the FD, since they house first responders.

The fire chief did specify safety concerns in other discussions.  In fact, they laid out a list of very specific concerns, including, but not limited to, non-mountable pedestrian islands. [/quote]
