It IS part of their lives. It is their dad completely disrespecting their mom, and taking time and probably money away from the family, at a minimum. When you are caught - and no matter how careful you are, it will eventually happen - you will likely wreck your relationship with your kids, who will then see you for the rest of your life as a liar and cheater who puts himself before everyone else.
