My dad was like you. Found out later in life. Only so long you can hide it. It destroyed my relationship with both my parents, especially my dad. I no longer trust him and think any of the good in my childhood was a shame.

You "demand" discretion? FYI, if your AP decides to talk there's nothing you can do about it. You are so selfish. It IS part of their lives. It is their dad completely disrespecting their mom, and taking time and probably money away from the family, at a minimum. When you are caught - and no matter how careful you are, it will eventually happen - you will likely wreck your relationship with your kids, who will then see you for the rest of your life as a liar and cheater who puts himself before everyone else. Then you will see exactly how much a part of their lives it is.

So I’m curious for all of the men who cheat and have daughters: how would you feel if your daughter’s husband cheats on her ? What if you find your son in law cheats, would you also hide that information from your daughter? Whose back do you have in that situation? How important is your daughter’s well being vs. your well being as a man?

Everyone should not try to control what no one ever does. Because if the wife hadnt not agreed to have sex, the precondition wouldn't have been broken, thus requiring her husband to seek sex elsewhere. She wittingly consented to his affair when she unwittingly o him revoked his right to regular sex which was tacitly given during the marriage ceremony, which means it should not require anything but implicit notification.

It easily could be, based on the angry guy's point of view. He would look at that situation and think "wow, wife is checked out. Therefore, this gives me permission to get some action elsewhere. She's given me tacit approval. I don't have to actually discuss anything with her or tell her my plans, or even verbally express my take on the situation with her because she should just know that such a dramatic reduction in the frequency of sex is a dealbreaker for fidelity." It's a scenario to demonstrate why mature adults who enter into a marriage should use their words to communicate with each other about their needs and assumptions.


Um, no, you are trying to obfuscate the normal sexless marriage=cheating issue with an extreme scenario involving an asshole cheater married to a wife who is at least trying. That is a a statistical anomaly. That is NOT the scenario of subject thread.
