Your Orange Leader is decidedly opposed to free speech. I have not seen a single post by a Trumpskyite in favor of free speech. Your OL is constantly calling stories he doesn't like "fake" and he's constantly lying about pretty much everything. That's not free speech. That's promulgating lies, as many Trumpskyites do here, many of them paid, I'm certain of that. And many Russian, also.

Also, you must be new here.  There have been post after post by conservatives and/or Trump voters (remember, they're not always one in the same) defending the right to free speech.  It's unfortunate that we have to put up with Neo-Nazi and KKK trash spewing their hateful speech, but they're within their rights - as are counter protesters and anyone else, for that matter.  If anything, it's you liberals who want to silence anyone who dares to disagree with you.  Why is that?

That isn't silencing you.  Sorry but free speech is a two way street.  You are free to exercise your right of free speech to say the things you say, even though what you say is typically misinformed, factless talking points full of rhetorical fallacies, and we are free to exercise our right of free speech to call you out for it.   If you think free speech means you get to say whatever you like and spew "alternative facts" ala your hero Donald Trump and it will just go uncontested, then that's just plain wrong.  That isn't how free speech works.  We aren't silencing you at all.  The only person here who has the power to delete posts is Jeff and he is his own person. Hmm, no, that's not it.  If anything, seeing the melodrama you liberals create in the face of common sense legislation is eye-opening, to say the least.  You go right ahead thinking you've got all the answers and are right about everything.  Rational, sane people who can think for themselves know you're all just spouting the usual nonsense.

Of course free speech is a two-way street; no one here has argued otherwise.  The point many of us were trying to make is that there comes a time when you should simply STOP trying to argue with your opponents (KKK, Neo-Nazis, etc.) and just let them burn themselves out.  Why do you continue feeding the beast, getting in their faces and arguing?  No one is listening, least of all the Neo-Nazis.

And finally, liberals absolutely try and silence those who disagree with them.  There really is no denying that fact.  All one has to do is read through the threads on this forum to see example after example of liberals trying to end a discussion by screaming, "RACIST!  NAZI!  RUSSIAN!  BOT!" Yup. My problem is that I take the bait when the liberals attack with their insulting accusations in defense of Trump voters, and I'm trying to stop. But what seems to be happening is that almost all the exchanges consist of liberals going on the offensive with hate-filled profanity and rants, and the conservatives arguing back that it's not true. An actual debate with rationale liberals is becoming harder and harder to find.[/quote]
