Older people can easily be tricked into something like that by making them think a family member is in trouble. For example, he could have pounded on the door screaming, “Mom, help!” And she would have run to the door and opened it, thinking she was helping her son. Then he grabbed her, which is why there was a small amount of blood, but not enough for a serious injury.

Her son lives on the East coast. She wouldn’t open the door for that. She wasn’t senile. Someone knocks the door at 2am. She knew it would be a perp unless it wasn’t a perp and someone she knew and trusted.. like her son in law, daughter, or an associate. Do we know if anyone else was at that dinner at Annie’s house? Why do the investigators keep returning to Annie’s home? Are they playing this by ear and expecting social media to solve this for them  because that’s what it looks like? Every time social media comes with a hot  take that goes viral about the Guthries, they return to Annie and Tommaso’s home.[/quote]
