Summer leagues are for fun only and usually only attract less competitive kids if they even exists (here there is Triple Edge).

In the summer the best middle and high school players go with their club teams to tournaments around the country.  These tournaments vary in quality/competition with the best often being invitation-only.  Club teams are year-round, not for the summer only although if you say for a national select team, they usually are just for the summer, or even just for one tournament  This applies for girls and boys.[/quote]
