My older son plays at a very high level in his sport and will play in college, and I was ignorant about that sport before we started all this, but I had other parents help me along the way, and I enjoy helping the up-and-coming parents as well. I really think you'll feel better about yourself if you try to be kind.

Who cares?
People who hope the gap between private school and public school lacrosse is shrinking.
It's not, especially Montgomery Public School lacrosse which is terrible outside of Churchill. Virginia public school lacrosse is better, but it is also so inferior to private school lacrosse.
So it sounds like you almost need to go the private school route if you want your kid to have a chance to play at the highest levels? That's kind of a terrible set-up.

Its not a league. Its a selective team.
A league? WTH?
Different poster. But why so vulgar and condescending lax dad? Guys like you feed into the awful stereotype.
I'm the poster who asked that question above. Honestly, when you meet some of these guys in real life at events and things, it's pretty obvious that they were bullied throughout their childhood and are still very angry about that. I'm glad they've taken the long view and channeled their anger into successful careers instead of shooting up their high schools, but their motivations are so obvious that you can't feel anything but sorry for them. I'm glad the schools do so much with anti-bullying these days, because no one should have to live their life like that. I really hope the success of these guys' children in their schools and their lax clubs helps them finally find some peace.
