There seems to be some sort of schism between the original SATC creative team & Catrell vs. SJP/MPK who rebooted the new AJLT series (which they are very careful to never call it a “Sex and the City” sequel…I’m pretty sure Candace Bushnell owns the copyright to that title). It’s all pretty fascinating. All the focus was on Catrell supposedly being a sour-puss for not participating in the reboot, but it actually seems like there is a much bigger fight between SJP and the show’s original creatives.
