My DH and I were sitting in a restaurant one night and these two drunk losers were sitting at the table next to us. Midway through the meal one guy leaned over and tapped me on the shoulder and said, "you're about, what, 135?" And then they both laughed hysterically. I was a size 8-10 at the time, which I thought was just fine, but this really gutted me. So humiliating.
and DH did what??????????????????????????
I don't get it. Where you 135 or not?
Is 135 supposed to be fat? or thin?
exactly! I don't get it.
I wouldn't feel like I need to add my agreement here, except that the poster said later it STILL upsets her to think about. PP, I also doubt they were saying you were fat, if that is what bothered you. It is bizarre, but I would interpret it as sexist assholes who are just checking out your body. They probably pride themselves on being able to guess a woman's weight or something. I would think they're telling you just to make you aware of the detail with which they were inspecting your body. It's just garden-variety sexual harrassment by assholes. The problem is 100% with them, no reflection on you in any way.
