No way. First they need to purchase the property. Then they need to set aside funds in next years budget to plan for renovations. Then they have to fund the renovations and complete the build. I’d say 2028-29 school year with 2027-28 being an ambitious timeline. [/quote]
The purchase is to be finalized in August.  They can have kids in the building during whatever minor renovations are needed to turn it into a county school from a private school.  Every other school in the county is still in use during much more extensive renovations.[/quote]

Agreed.  Get it right and open it when it's ready.  And prioritize getting this right and making the absolutely necessary ES adjustments at Coates and Parklawn.  Any other MS/HS adjustments should be deferred indefinitely.  They claim this will save hundreds of millions on a new western HS and allow for the acceleration of other projects so let them tell us how that's going to work before they change other boundaries that aren't KAA-related.
