I was PP. They actually do quite well but that wasn’t my point. All JC, KL, etc. care about is how the ECNL team performs, them making Nationals, etc. It’s all they talk about and focus on. Once you get to u13, the ECNL coach for each respective year don’t give two sh*ts about the RL teams player development. With extremely rare exception their new players are coming from the outside. They do care more at u12 and there’s recently been a track record of SC and now KL taking ECNL 2 so they can see a deeper pool firsthand, see how girls develop under them, and then choose their u13 11v11 teams.

The RL teams are profitable and help pay the salaries of KL, SC and now the new guys.

I’m sure this is not unique to Bethesda. And there isn’t anything wrong with it if your DD and you are happy with the RL team, it’s coaching and it’s travel burden for the second tier. [/quote]
