Yes such as?  They have been the ones that pushed for early community conversations about boundary studies.  MS novel studies. Digital balance resolution.  If more families actually got involved in their PTAs and MCCPTA (and not just to plan parties or fundraisers) imagine what could be accomplished.[/quote]

MCCPTA has changed leadership recently and not everyone in the organization agrees with holding MCPS’s feet to the fire.

Completely disagree with you. Leadership is there expressly to improve outcomes for students. If they only cared about their own kids, they could do that without all the work that is involved in MCCPTA leadership positions. [/quote]

+1. There are several open leadership positions.  I’m sure they would love to have you. Don’t want a leadership position?  Just join and contribute any of the committees.  Can’t do that?  Ask how you are helping your schools PTA bring awareness of issues, resources, and opportunities to advocate.[/quote]
