There is no actual treatment for these things. There’s not a magical pill to cure people of things like pedophilia or wanting to harm children. I saw a speaker online during Covid who was a convicted pedophile and he described it as an attraction in the way of how adults with sexual preferences can have a preference for age, hair color, etc.. in a fellow adult and there’s nothing to stop them from being attracted to a person with those features when they feel that attraction. He was explaining how pedophiles re-offend because like other adults that attraction doesn’t just go away with jail time. He was pro-castration fwiw. It never made sense to me until he explained this in a way that makes sense why they re-offend and are always a danger. Your attraction to men with dark hair won’t go away just because you’re jailed for ten years or twenty. When you get out you’ll still be attracted to them. Over time people’s preferences can change but it’s by chance. [/quote]

Nah, I call bullsh*t. They may not be able to help who they are attracted to, but they can certainly not *rape* children. just like we expect anyone else to contain their sexual desires unless in a consensual relationship.[/quote]

Some men (maybe women?) rape drunk/unconscious/comatose/disabled adult people, and some would never. Just because you're attracted, doesn't mean one takes action on it. What makes them think a child is fair game? So effed up.

On another note, I have noticed big increase in reports of adult women abusing children,  mostly teacher-student, which used to be SO shocking, and now it's becoming regular. In my own high school in the 90s, there were at least 3 different male teachers who had relations with underage girls, and one female teacher who was doing it with a male student from age 14 or such. Many boys/men did not traditionally come forward. One reason is bc they are conditioned to think they are supposed to want it as a male. I know 2 men abused by women when they were young teens. Both, although different circumstances, when they tried to tell someone
