The point of the thread should have been that it is really tragic that these children died under such terrible circumstances, and really sad that their mother was so negligent.  I agree that it got off topic with discussion of her sexuality, income, and the number of children she had.  However, I still don't see what the point of your story about how your parents let you play outside alone at age 3 in the 70s.[/quote]
