You're a moron. There is more than 1 ranking. Using USnews as the only ranking to qualify prestige is stupid especially since they don't rank LACs. For instance USC is 27 on USnews but 19 on Times. While Notre Dame is 19 on USnews and 36 on Times. So why should ND be considered a top school if USC is not? There's 5 undergrad rankings, they all should be taken into consideration not just 1.

I have one kid in USC and one kid in ND, so I'll pick and choose better number from each LOL
However, USN&WR seems more reasonable for undergraduate.
Overall I would consider ND a T20 school and USC a T25 school.
Overall ranking is just for an initial reference, specific program and fit is more important.

For my kid 1 USC is definitely a better school, and for kid 2 ND is definitely a better school.
