Unfortunately little of what you just wrote is true. Humans are born male or female. Saying you’re male doesn’t transform your ovaries into testicles. One can “identify” as any number of things but that doesn’t mean you’re actually that thing. Homosexuality shouldn’t be confused with gender identity. They are two separate things. Cisgender is a term that’s employed to rationalize the irrational. I don’t care how you identify that up to you, but to force feed contemporary psychobabble onto young girls by their teachers is nothing short of brainwashing them. Tell they to accept everyone at face value nothing more nothing less. I guess you’ll tell us that employing drugs to suppress puberty is a rational act?
Most major professional associations of medical and mental health professionals uniequivocally support creating welcoming environments for trans-identified or nonbinary-idenitfied adolescents, especially in schools. Just search for the pro-trans platforms expressed by the American Psychological Assocation, the American Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, just to name a few. I certainly hope you didn't slip down that slippery slope in your last sentence.
Institutional capture is real and it’s happened. Look at the ACLU. Suing people to stop FOIA requests because they don’t want data on transwomen in prisons exposed. The founders must be rolling in their graves. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/aclu-sues-private-citizen-to-suppress-public-records-request-in-washington-state-301268835.html
The institutional capture is staggeringly real and even terrifying. Most people don't object or protest because they're afraid of their own careers. I've read wincing claims and statements in scientific and medical journals that have absolutely no scientific or biological basis, it's little more than "we believe" because it's now deemed morally correct and just, it's quasi-religious and starting to become a dogma in that you're not allowed to challenge the "consensus" without being deemed heretical. And "peer-reviewed" in virtually all cases turns out to not really be peer-reviewed, just an affirmation, so I see cites back to the same original unfounded claim. Really have no idea how it's all going to play out in the long run. Part of me thinks this madness will have to devour itself soon enough and in a way it does seem like it's starting to happen, but it also depends on how entrenched the ideological corruption has become in institutions and higher education.
