Didn’t Bruce Lee’s son die in an accident on set with a firearm?
Yes, Brandon Lee while filming The Crow. Such an incredible performance, he was going to be a huge star. The original cut of the film actually included the moment where he was shot. https://www.cnn.com/2021/10/22/entertainment/brandon-lee-family-speaks-out-halyna-hutchins-death-intl-scli/index.html
For Brandon Lee, what happened was there was a bullet head stuck inside the barrel before it was used. The pressure from the blank actually pushed out the stuck bullet head which hit Brandon at close range.
“bullet head” Gawd I love hearing DCUM trying to explain things they don’t understand but think they’re still experts about.
What is wrong with their brief description? I'm not a gun owner, so I appreciate their input.
It's a bullet tip, not a bullet head. Don't comment about guns if you know nothing about them.
Might oughta take your own advice. A “round” of ammunition is composed of a casing, which has a primer at the rear and propellant within. It is topped (in live ammunition) with a “bullet” aka “projectile. Not “bullet tip” or “bullet head.” Blank ammunition is crimped at the top and contains a wad. The wad itself can cause fatality, as can the overpressure from the primer and any propellant. That’s what killed John Eric Hexum. It is absolutely preposterous that any live ammunition would be on a movie set.
