The PPs who are saying that you learn about things wealthy families naturally have access to only because you are in private are discounting the fact that those kids would have access to those same things even if they went to a strong public school with those from similar SE situations.I don't think that private school gets you to be a bigger thinker or more daring in terms of entrepreneurship. That's what comes from having a family that exposes you to things like that. And in public schools, in the DMV area, there are vast opportunities for research placements, extracurriculars, etc that can open doors even without family money, but if you have both it's even easier.[/quote]
