You are a liar.  Austin doesn't want the status quo for overcrowded schools, and he's made that extremely clear.  However[b], he doesn't want socio-economic diversity to be given priority over other factors when adjusting boundaries, because this will lead to students having to travel excessive distances to schools. Neither does the BOE or most other parents.    If you are referring to upcounty boundary, those kids who were moved don't have "excessive" travel distances.   If you think they do, please detail the differences in busing time pre and post the boundary change.

There are current boundaries where it takes more than 15minutes for students to get to their assigned schools, including those in the W clusters.

So, if you are against more than 15min on a bus, then you should want BOE to change some of the W cluster boundaries, too.  Are you and Austin for that?
