wait. There's hype surrounding vacationing in Arizona?   I'm from the east coast, lived there for the first 35 years of my life. I never heard hype about it while I was living there.  I now live in California, and STILL no hype about Arizona.  What are you talking about?[/quote]

You sound like someone’s who lived in Arizona yet never experienced Arizona outside of Phoenix. PLENTY of people want to go to Arizona for the different parks and scenery. Sedona, Tucson, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, etc. [/quote]

We went to Tucson for our anniversary recently. The desert and "sky islands" were spectacular.[/quote]
