The food in Europe isn't even that great. Contemporary american cuisine has largely surpassed the famous traditional European restaurants. You have to hit at least a 2 michelin star restaurant to experience something you can't find in DC.

London is like America but with people saying "c*nt" more often and with food options consisting of sausage, beer, and indian food.

Belgium has some street liege waffles and stronger beer, but I can make liege waffles here at home.

It's to the point now where the only city I'm maybe up for going to is Amsterdam because you can smoke weed there. But you can probably do that here soon too.[/quote]

If you can stand in the Forum Romanum and not get chills b.c you are standing where Julius Caesar, Cicero, Augustus, etc stood....IDK what to think of you. Maybe you just aren't educated? I went with my dad who is a Classics Professor we talked about a lot of history and culture while we were there.

And the Med isn't cold all the time.
