Bethesda ECNL 05 had to face 2 teams that are in top 100 nationally during the group stage. Granted, McLean had a much easier groupt, but Maryland United ECNL team still finished last in that group. By comparison, North Toronto, which won its group in the top bracket of WAGs had to face only 1 team ranked in the top 100 during the group stage, Delaware FC and Beach FC, which also won their groups in the top bracket of WAGs face ZERO team ranked in the top 100 nationally. One could easily make an argument that in this age group it was easier for a top team to advance from the group stage in WAGs. [/quote]
