A state single payer program would cost 24 Billion- thats BILLION with a B, over half of MD's current budget. You cant fund that with legalizing weed sales. Not even close. And that doesnt even mention free Universal Pre K, raising the minimum wage state wdie to 15, "free" college... etc. One way or the other we are talking about a massive, massive tax hike. No thanks. Also- the Kirwin commission is an absolute disaster for Montgomery and Howard counties. A killer. [/quote]
