I'm not particularly impressed with the Board. But I do recognize that they are ordinary humans trying to do their best in a very difficult role. One or two have been there too long and should probably move on. A few are parents, one had a child in Fernandez's class (unknown if that child was a victim). Similar to a few admins/teachers (i.e. Yombo), they certainly didn't suspect the abuse when it was going on or they wouldn't have let their kids be in his class.

They have done their best to be responsive to parent feedback. They have fired the individuals who were negligent.

IMO, they are giving governing LAMB during a difficult time their best shot (despite their day jobs) --- and it is a tough role to play. They may be a joke according to some of you, but they are all that we have right now. So, rather than sitting around taking cheap shots, why don't we work harder to improve the Board?[/quote]
