I'm a prospective parent at LAMB, waitlisted as #20 for prek-4. I think the board sounds like an issue for sure but I'm still interested in having my child attend LAMB. My question is when will they start moving down the waitlist? When I emailed admissions they said it would go all summer and possibly into September - is this true? My inbound school isn't great but it's ok for next year. Can I still re-enroll there or should I hold off until I hear from LAMB? Not even sure if I will hear from them though?
I think t hat's true. They will go to the wait list to fill spaces as they open up -- either if/when new families turn them down the spaces they've been offered or if/when current families informing them they are leaving.
It's the same as in common lottery: you enroll where you currently have a spot. Then if you get a better offer, you enroll there/unenroll at the first school. Not a big deal. This is what I did last year.
