Both Senator Kaine, and outgoing Gov McAuliffe, are former DNC chairs.  Last night was the first election in which Tom Perez was DNC chair - and it was a triumph.

Yeah, I agree it was  triumph for the Democrats last night. That said, I’m more interested in an emerging new guard than the old guard – including those you mentioned, and actually, even including Bernie. It’s time to re-shape the way we think about ourselves and look to the future.  There are reasonable other points of you besides mine, and I would like to be able to have a conversation about them without fevolving into a trump versus Hillary versus Obama fake news death spiral. Let’s focus on what we agree on, and we need to get done. [/quote]
