Complete nonsense on this thread lately. The Ukrainian counteroffensive is struggling. Yes, I hope everyone expected that. It doesn't mean the war is over. It doesn't mean Ukraine has to accept a peace treaty and give all those occupied lands to Russia. It means the conflict will drag into next year, and possibly 2025. Just like intelligence services of every NATO country warned about. We knew. But the media always wants quick resolutions, and therefore is chomping at the bit. Don't fall for it. We're in this for the long-term.
No one expected this counteroffensive to struggle, you wouldn't do one if you did. Ukraine/NATO got too deep in their own propaganda and is no longer functioning on accurate information. Whether NATO is willing to shoulder the financial, material, and political burden for two more years is open to debate.
Nonsense. War is not easy. And the overwhelming brunt of it is still on Ukraine. Russia is still the big dog in this fight even with the smattering of pieces of outdated hardware and tidbits of training and advice Ukraine has gotten from a few friends. Your warped perspective is rooted entirely in the false Russian supposition that this is directly a war between Russia and NATO, which it is not.
