These two are Russian nationalists, but also the most objective Russian commentators. They are both saying the war is lost, the commanders are incompetent and criminals, and a second Russian revolution, is inevitable.
If that second revolution starts, I would imagine several of the perimeter provinces are going to break away from Russia - either to finally get out from under the Tsarist / Kremlin boot or, at minimum, to distance themselves from Ukrainian war crime culpability.
Exactly. And Prigozhin and Girkin have spent vastly more time on the front to see what's going on with their own eyes than Putin, Shoigu or any of the propagandists have.

Whitehouse has a never ending money tree by depreciating all equipment to zero, retrospectively.
YOU, the us and European taxpayer are paying for this nonsensical war over a border region between Russia and a country with negligible history as an independent country in the last two hundred years.
Someone is making money/ who do you think?
Wow. Sure sounds like you are ambivalent about all this. Wonder why? Maybe because you’re a Russian propaganda bot or paid shill trying to lower overall morale. Putin’s admitted he wants to drag this out because he believes the west will get tired of it and move on.
You’d love that, wouldntcha? Imagine all the grain and the access to the Black Sea, etc Russia would gain from taking over Ukraine. Of course, you “just want peace” and “they’re all Russian speaking people anyway”. It’s not that you’re a sniveling coward or a shill or bot, but that you’re a peace monger simply interested in what’s best for everyone.

I am the OP of this thread. I agree: my thread certainly has drawn the Russian bots and trolls out from under their bridges.
It is laughably sad how much false Russian propaganda they post. The most laughable is the claim the Ukrainian counter offensive is over. Hardly!
Over 90% of the Russian forces in Ukraine are now dedicated to the defensive lines, while only 25% of Ukraine’s dedicated offensive force has taken part so far in minor probing actions.
Also, the reality is the size and duration (6 hours plus) of the secondaries at the Rykove (Partyzany) ammo depot argue the Ukrainian long-range strike hit a RuAF theater level ammo storage depot.
Theater-level ammo storage depot. Let that sink in for a moment.
Russia should just go home now, before they suffer an inevitable, humiliating defeat.
There’s a lot of posts here, that once you’ve read about Russian propaganda techniques, are recognizable.
Whether it’s simply distracting a thread’s course, or the “firehose of propaganda”, or basically just trying to wear down readership until people give in, it’s all here. There’s historical revisionism. There’s folks saying they want “peace” which is a euphemism that means acceptance of annexation. There’s folks saying Ukraine is basically Russian anyway. Like all of it is funny. It’s prob a lot of bots and paid posters.
The problem, as well, is that mixed in with these bad faith actors are also simple, unwitting, most right-leaning, Tucker Carlson supporting types who would probably be at home in a Russian type society anyway. One where a homophobic, strongman, authoritarian dictator type of figure omnipotently suppresses the population and exploits orthodox religion and religious sentiment to advance policy.
The United States is particularly primed for this having such a large percentage of evangelicals and because they themselves have a natural proclivity for the “natural order” and the need to suppress out groups.
There is also a sort conspiracy theorist qanon contingent present in America. They all supporter trump for some reason. They usually have voiced strangely sympathetic comments for Russia.
This is a strange thread. You’d think most people would want to support the underdog and our European allies, but here we get bots, paid shills, fake peaceniks, and genuinely wing nut right wing radicals proclaiming to be “left wing pacifists”. Strange thread. Anyway, glad Congress is ignoring you fks and continues to do the right thing. Enjoy the Fox News koolaid, tools.

Complete nonsense on this thread lately.
The Ukrainian counteroffensive is struggling. Yes, I hope everyone expected that. It doesn't mean the war is over. It doesn't mean Ukraine has to accept a peace treaty and give all those occupied lands to Russia.
It means the conflict will drag into next year, and possibly 2025. Just like intelligence services of every NATO country warned about. We knew. But the media always wants quick resolutions, and therefore is chomping at the bit. Don't fall for it. We're in this for the long-term.
No one expected this counteroffensive to struggle, you wouldn't do one if you did. Ukraine/NATO got too deep in their own propaganda and is no longer functioning on accurate information.
Whether NATO is willing to shoulder the financial, material, and political burden for two more years is open to debate.

Just because people express legitimate concerns about the outcome of this war does not mean they are bots or trolls. People beginning to see beyond mass media propaganda and what they see is not pretty or promising. We also now have a lot of people in DMV area who came under U4U program with the first hand experience in this war and their stories very often do not match what CNN tells us.
