Once zoning relief is granted, there's a permitting process. Even without the lease, it's likely be 2018 before groundbreaking. And that's not inconsistent with a 2020 completion date. PP is right that school could be rebuilt before the commercial project is developed. Wouldn't surprise me if GDS ends up selling the Wisconsin Ave property to a developer post-PUD (thereby losing any future revenue stream) just to pay off some of the debt associated with land assembly and/or to fund school construction. I guess a sale/leaseback deal for the L/MS might be another option. I just don't see the school attracting $60-80 million in donations to rebuild its facilities any time soon. [/quote]
