This is especially beneficial for teams who have played together and were successful at U9. There are a ton of benefits to this and pretty much no downside playing lower/mid level NCSL U11 for a year going from 7v7 to 9v9 and then moving up to higher tier or even the other league. It is also a way to increase roster 1-2 spots w/a 1-2 yr plan of the team and coach/coaches sticking together. [/quote]
