Because that is part of her Nigerian culture. As she clearly stated. So you can drop your white Western expectations about what is appropriate, because they don't apply to her culture.

Ummm you don’t need to be hyper aggressive. This is an American show in America. The point of reality tv is to reflect much of the culture of the people that watch the show. It’s why shows like the Kardashians lasted so long because they were more American than Armenian. [/quote]

I used no foul language or caps. I literally said nothing "aggressive." I simply stated facts. You can keep your "ummmmm." I'm perfectly comfortable when people have a different point of view. I'm sorry that you are not and that you feel so defensive.

Wendy is American. So she reflects American culture. Like many Anericans, her family heritage also includes cultures from different countries. The interweaving of these perspectives and traditions is what makes American culture.
