More on the testimony Wednesday: “Two State Department officials, Catherine Croft and Chris Anderson, plan to describe to impeachment investigators an unusual intrusion into U.S. foreign policy by Trump-aligned consultants, singling out Trump’s “long-held view of Ukraine as a corrupt country.” Croft and Anderson detail an unusual effort by non-government officials to influence U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine as it was subjected to intensifying aggression from Russia. They hoped to “undo” Trump’s hostile posture, but were told Rudy was the obstacle.

Catherine Croft on the withheld military aid:
