Unstrap kid
Walk up sidewalk
Stop to pick flowers
Open door
Walk down hallway to class
Say hi to teacher so she knows kid is there
Kid needs to potty and needs help
Sign papers for field trips, upcoming events; Read classroom updates.
Say bye to kid in window
Go back to kid for extra hug
Walk back down hallway
Stop at front desk to sign roster (so if there is a fire, rescuers will know your child was present and will search until found). This is required and there is always a line.

Back down sidewalk to car

None of these things takes that long. But there are alot of things. And kids walk slow. This is 10-15 minutes for me. I go fast too. I would challenge any of you to a race. [/quote]

The more accredited a preschool or daycare, the longer it takes parents to drop off and pick up? The more accredited a preschool or daycare, the less time it takes parents to drop off and pick up?

If these are the types of reasoning skills you use throughout pick up and drop off, no wonder it takes you so long.[/quote]
