I do think women should register for the draft. I do know that we haven't had a draft since the 1970's. I do know that there have been enough people to cover the demand for military personnel so it's likely that no one will be drafted - neither men nor women. I do find the attitude toward woman in this thread really sad. There is a lot of anger and resentment toward women. Just starting the thread was a provocative gesture and could be construed as a desire to incite fear and anger. [/quote] You are kidding right. This thread was started because there is currently a measure in the White House to actively consider women signing up for selective service. It's a legitimate topic to talk about, just because you disagree with other posters opinions does not mean it was constructed to incite fear and anger. [/quote]
