This may be news to you, but the police are public servants of the CITIZENS, not of the CRIMINALS (petty or otherwise).

The police stopped being public servants of the teenager when she:
- trespassed property
- was part of a mob attacking a resident
- didn't comply with police requests[/quote]

She was invited. A mob did not attack a resident. The resident attacked some of the kids. It's on video, but you will make an excuse for that. She did comply, and was attacked anyway. Talking to a police office in an unpleasant voice is not resisting arrest. I bet you are also one of the posters who is always claiming first amendment rights. First amendment rights is for everyone or no one. Which way do you want it?  [/quote]
