The Islamic Cultural Center proposal (it was not an actual mosque, but an intercultural center to promote inter-faith dialogue and had a prayer space for Muslims inside) was 2 blocks from Ground Zero.

There is a public charter school in Brooklyn called Hebrew Language Academy Charter School.

2 blocks away from ground zero is insensitive to the victims .  Be normal , pick a less controversial location.  I'm against Hebrew and Arab public schools.  Until the 90 percent of crap public schools teach math and English at a much higher level .. Wtf ?[/quote]

No, no, haven't you been reading the posts from Geller's supporters? It is absolutely essential that we exercise our rights to free expression regardless of who is insulted. If we censor ourselves and show sensitivity, we are basically burning the 1st Amendment. If you start with worrying about the feelings of 9/11 victims, how long before you don't want to draw cartoons insulting Muhammad? It's a slippery slope.
