But it's quite obvious that you are a bitter shrew. A bitter, race-baiting, whiny shrew. I'm still not convinced these masses of boundary cheates exist. And saying logical things to you like, "sometimes kids have more than one residence," or, "sometimes people with md plates pick up kids in dc," make no impression whatsoever. You think you would at least have the social graces to keep your psycho obsession with stalking poor kids from pg a secret, but no. Perhaps it is all you have. Although, let me say it's a low, low bar, gaming the system to get into a dcps. Why aren't they going for moco? Or parts of virginia? these imaginary children whosent guardians have infinite time and gas to bring them anywhere?
I'm not the poster that you're responding to, but you protest too much. I've suspected many, many kids over here in Ward 5 of being in DCPS schools fraudulently. When they say they go to Burroughs but they live in Maryland, it's pretty damn obvious. Since I'm not a parent at that school nor interested in "stalking" kids, as you say it, I've never reported anyone. But I would be very glad if someone who had some hard facts followed up. Yes, it sucks for the kids. But it's unconscionable that their parents have put them in that position. I really don't understand people who defend that kind of behavior.
Why are you approaching and talking to these elementary students if you don't have any children at the school? Stranger-Danger.
Uh, no. In many cases kids have asked if they can come over to my house and I say, "Let's talk to your mom or dad and see what they think; are you a neighbor?" Maybe you're not approachable? Kids often talk to us on the playground, especially when they're actively playing with our kids.
Yes, I guess I am your neighbor since I play tennis at Dwight Mosley and my child has played on the playground. I still do not get how you can assume these kids live in Maryland based on the information you provided. Burroughs is considered one of the better ES in Ward 5, and since so many Ward 5 students attend charters, Burroughs and Bunker Hill have a lot of OOB kids from Ward 7.
