I'm not the poster that you're responding to, but you protest too much. I've suspected many, many kids over here in Ward 5 of being in DCPS schools fraudulently. [b]When they say they go to Burroughs but they live in Maryland, it's pretty damn obvious. Since I'm not a parent at that school [/b]nor interested in "stalking" kids, as you say it, I've never reported anyone. But I would be very glad if someone who had some hard facts followed up. Yes, it sucks for the kids. But it's unconscionable that their parents have put them in that position.

Uh, no. In many cases kids have asked if they can come over to my house and I say, "Let's talk to your mom or dad and see what they think; [b]are you a neighbor?[/b]" Maybe you're not approachable? Kids often talk to us on the playground, especially when they're actively playing with our kids.[/quote]

Yes, I guess I am your neighbor since I play tennis at Dwight Mosley and my child has played on the playground.  I still do not get how you can assume these kids live in Maryland based on the information you provided.  Burroughs is considered one of the better ES in Ward 5, and since so many Ward 5 students attend charters, Burroughs and Bunker Hill have a lot of OOB kids from Ward 7.   [/quote]
