Hardy should respond to the needs and concerns of IB families - they have an obvious stake in the school. But, if IB families are not attending, and the school is currently 87% OOB, the school obviously has a responsibility to address the needs of those attending Hardy now - no one can deny their stake in the school. In large part, there is not a real difference - the needs of IB families and the needs of OOB families are not all that different. But, to the extent there is a real or perceived difference, how should the school handle it? Do you prioritize the needs of current students against potential future students, or vice versa?
