Play MLS Next AD and HS soccer and stop whining. You knew when you signed up for MLS HD you were foregoing playing for your HS.
We will continue to do both and allow our children to play as much as possible so they improve at a faster rate than others. If there is any punishment, which I strongly doubt, we will deal with it.
You better check your high school league rules. There’s a very good chance that a rival high school coach could report your MLSNext son’s high school participation, which would result in his high school team forfeiting all of their matches. You’d be really popular in town.
There is no such rules. The only ones that care about kids playing high school is the mls next league committee. They want to keep all our their players under wraps so they can create a monopoly around soccer and make more money. Most programs and coaches could honestly care less, they don’t want the kids to get hurt but even they know high school soccer has some benefit. From what I have seen over the years, the mls next kids who do extremely well in high school have great college careers and the ones who don’t look special are usually one year at college and quit. On a MLS next team there is probably only 4-5 good players and the rest are just fillers.
