You may have only one age group trying out (large number of players trying out), or you may have multiple age groups on the same court (smaller number of players registered for tryouts). Most clubs have a main court, where they collect the best players to see them playing together. They also have a bottom court, where they keep the less skillful players. You know they are interested in you if you end up on the top court. Your chances are smaller when you and up on the bottom court. Couches are looking for skill level, athleticism, coachability, and attitude. Height is important for a lot of clubs.
