What is crazy is I think both parties (the people, not necessarily the politicians themselves) want better mental healthcare in this country. For themselves and their family, but also for all the ill people out there who are a danger to society. How many times do we hear about all the red flags before someone shoot someone (possibly even in the case of Luigi). There is essentially unanimous support for greater mental healthcare access, but we can’t get that passed because why? Shareholders? [/quote]

It's very difficult to force people over 18yo to get mental help. This kid here had a family with enough money to help and who cares about him, had good friends who cared too, was educated, had resources, and yet this happened. It's not to say we shouldn't have universal healthcare, we 100% should! But it doesn't solve these sorts of issues like magic.[/quote]
