I strongly disagree.  These people have turned conservatism into a culture because they have horrible policy, I get that.  It definitely works.  Politicizing EVERYTHING has dividends, but they are rapidly diminishing.

And F****** with cat people is where those returns turn into losses.  Owning a pet is absolutely not a political thing.  We all know Republicans who own cats.  There are plenty of unmarried Republican women out there- maybe they are divorced, or widowed, or whatever.  And they probably have a pet, and a LOT of people freaking love cats.  This is not some tiny insignificant number.  This is incredibly stupid.[/quote]
