Why did Jennifer Garner pick a loser? She seems like someone who knows better.  I could have MAYYYYBE seen her having a starter marriage with Ben and then Garner divorcing him after a year or two, but no she cranked out three kids with him. [/quote]

I agree with PPs - Jen G was head over heels for him, and unfortunately he knew it and wasn’t very good to her. I think he respects her as a mother - and is probably very grateful she’s the mother to his children - but he was very disrespectful to her as a partner. [b]Remember when he thanked everyone BUT HER when he won the Oscar for Argo? [/b] I don’t think that was a simple slip - I think he genuinely always thought she was lesser than him. [/quote]

He thanked her. He thanked for working on their marriage. Then they did the SNL skit together that a PP linked to mock his speech and repair the damage.
