She’s smarter than him. She’s a better businesswoman and has more money than him. Someone who gets banned from blackjack and pisses his money away on gambling and strip clubs at age 50 isn’t a genius or mature . I think he married her for financial comfort. He knew she’d buy the mansion and he expected to coast off that after the lull of the movie industry after COVID and writers strike. Ben was emailing J Lo for years prior since her divorce in 2011 and his divorce in 2012. Why did he suddenly get back with her in 2021?  He was bored because Vegas was shut down and Money and work wasn’t coming in fast enough due to the pandemic so  J Lo gave him something to do.  He’s an awful person.

And she is worth  500 million dollars.

She doesn’t have an Oscar and she isn’t a serious actress but she’s a capital S star and and her multi industry marketing is groundbreaking as well.  Movies , music, merchandise. Nobody  was doing perfumes before J Lo . That was seen as a washed up QVC celebrity thing or something for older women like Elizabeth Taylor.  Now every pop star has a perfume out in the Macys aisle.

Her influence is underrated. Before Kim Kardashian, she popularized relationship or fame marketing and was known for her curvy figure. Shes the first Latin actress to get paid a million dollars for a movie. None of these things were handed to her. She had to work for it.

She also was the first of the younger pop stars to join American Idol for a career resurgence . Back then, she was  mocked for it  but soon, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, and others joined talent panels.
