I hope people really push Frumin on a yes or no answer to re-criminalizing fare evasion. Don't let him try to say nothing and avoid a real answer like he usually does. It's one of the clearest examples of the council supporting a crime, and creating a problem where there wasn't one. It also has a very simple fix that could happen ASAP if the will was there, and it would be a great litmus test before the elections.

This is an excellent idea. MD, VA and WMATA all opposed the action of the Council. It has had disastrous and far ranging consequences, financially and re: safety.
