But it could be finding a needle in the haystack. I can tell you from my own AirPods. The location is quite inaccurate. I had my AirPods with me when I left the office. Stopped by two places and now home. It still shows under find my devices as still in the office. So basically if your kid was at her friends house and dropped it after, it could still show as being at her friends house even though it was dropped later somewhere else. So the parents search may also turn out nothing [/quote]
