I read on Reuters that they are planning to introduce the CR tomorrow.

While I agree it's kinda gimmicky I don't see why folks are so against it.  If it was a clean CR until January people wouldn't care so this is a clean CR for some of govt until Jan and for the rest until Feb.  Realistically everyone has to deal with this sh*t again in January.[/quote]

It is setting up two shutdown fights in a row.  We're on our second in a row right now and it's exhausting.  And stupid.

Johnson is setting up the new year to be exhausting and stupid - for no reason.  Why?  Because he wants to be different?  What's the upside here? For him or anyone?[/quote]
